Since 2012, in collaboration with Italians and European research groups, he is involved in trials on protein insects as potential raw material in fish and poultry nutrition. He is also involved in trials on insect rearing evaluating the impact of rearing substrates and environmental conditions on live cycles and product quality for feed purposes. Main skills and research topics: animal nutrition, aquaculture, edible insects, feeds, meat, quality and safety of foods of animal origin.
